Central London South - SW1, SW3, SW7, SE1, SE11

The southern part of Central London is a bustling area filled with an impressive collection of landmark buildings including the Palace of Westminster, the Houses of Parliament and the Prime Ministers domicile, 10 Downing Street. It is also the location of Whitehall Road, which is the centre of HM Government. The term Whitehall is popularly used to describe the UK government and the area is lined with government ministries and departments. Buckingham Palace is also located within this district, and is considered the home of the British Monarchy. Buckingham Palace is open to the public during the summer months and is a major tourism attraction, offering access to the state rooms and galleries.

Westminster, is famous the world over for the iconic Big Ben, Westminster Abbey, the House of Lords and Westminster Cathedral. St James Park, a fifty eight acre Royal Park, is situated in the Westminster area. The area of Chelsea offers exclusive high fashion shopping areas and is renowned as the home of the rich and famous. The National Army Museum and Carlyles House are situated in Chelsea. Chelsea Harbour is a development located on the north bank of the River Thames, providing river bus services to Blackfriars Millennium Pier and Putney during peak hours.

The Earls Court Exhibition Centre is situated in the Royal Borough of Kensington and Chelsea and is the venue for many large annual events. The areas of Kensington and South Kensington are offered referred to as "Ken", such as South Ken. Knightsbridge is located in South Kensington, and is famous as the home of Harrods, although in actual fact Harrods is situated on Brompton Road. The Royal Albert Hall, the Albert Memorial, the Natural History Museum, The Science Museum and the Albert Museum are all situated in the South Kensington and Knightsbridge areas.

Belgravia and Pimlico are situated in the South Central area of London, as well as a small part of Victoria. Victoria Mainline Train Station is one of London's largest stations and also offers direct links to Gatwick Airport via the Express service. The district of Waterloo is located in the Borough of Lambeth, home to the business district called the Waterloo Quarter. Waterloo Station, one of the busiest stations in Europe, is also situated in the area. The London Borough of Lambeth is also home to the London Eye, on the South Bank of the River Thames.
